Sydney – A City of the West, the East and Down Under
Sydney is multicultural city with a British touch.
-
Sydney – The Boxing Day
We checked into the InterContinental Hotel in the morning. The hotel is located at the pivot point of the city – all major attractions are within walking distance.
-
Sydney – Taronga Zoo
Opened in 1916, Taronga Zoo hosts many animals of the southern hemisphere that are not easily seen elsewhere.
-
Sydney – Darling Harbour and City Center
The city center has good shopping districts, but the facilities are somewhat outdated.
-
Sydney – Bondi Beach
The sky finally cleared up so we could take some photos we have to take.
-
Sydney – Blue Mountains
We took the Essential Tour to get into the Opera House in the morning and then went to Blue Mountain national park by the train.
-
Sydney – Royal Botanic Garden
I had a walk in the Royal Botanic Garden in the morning before we left Sydney. We should have stayed one more day to watch the world-famous NYE fireworks.
