Looking at this cloud in the dusk, you will notice that this place is not a common
place. In the Gold Rush days, a group of gold rushers thought this was a shortcut
to their destination, so into it they went. They never came out. Thus the name,
"Death Valley". It was 52C the day we were there. (Human body temperature is 36.5C).

Water, tree and rock together make beautiful scenes. Yosemite has the best of them all, waterfalls, forests and mountains. Even in Chinese, "Yosemite" sounds similar as "the most beautiful place". |

I went to Stanford several times. I would say that the tourists in Stanford
are much more friendly than the people actually working there. Nevertheless,
the campus is still very beautiful.
