West Side Story (1)

It's said that in his first meet with President Nixon, chairman Mao Tse-tung pointed to the west coast on a US map, saying, "I like California!"

San Francisco

I like this city a lot. I have always liked a city by the seaside. Standing on the Golden Gate Bridge, I can see the Pacific Ocean, and I know that on the other side of the sea is my hometown.

San Francisco is a city on hills. Driving along the Lombard St. is really a fun experience, for you have to climb up a STEEP road with many stops and go down a crookedest street afterwards.

There are many activities in San Francisco, visiting Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, riding cable car down the hill in the dusk with wind blowing across the face, finding a good restuarant in Chinatown, spending a day in the Golden Gate park...

I would like to suggest anyone touring in San Francisco pay a visit to the Japanese Tea Garden at Golden Gate Park. You won't be dissapointed in this delicately decorated place.

It is often foggy along the coastline. Now I know where all those clouds come from. Views are gorgeous on both sides of the road.
